The original Battle of Britain film is unbeatable because they actually flew the real planes… hundreds of them! Forget CGI, give me the real aircraft any day !

@@rickklein7792 Of course. The wings were inverted so that it could be flown from a carrier and stored below deck. Also. Did you know the reason why it was a tail drager was because the size of the propeller.

My other favorite plane was the Thunderbolt. Basically an engine with wings.

@@Batalia122 You are partially correct. The initial design requirement was to enable the aircraft to exceed 400 MPH. Vought designated the P&W Double Wasp as the power plant and upon consultation with Hamilton Standard (propeller vendor) they chose a 13 foot diameter prop. In order to clear the height the original thinking was to have an extended landing gear but they could not stow it fully within the wing until they designed the bent wing design to use current gear heights. Plus the extended gear would never stand up to forces of carrier landings. The tail dragger design was always considered even giving them additional prop clearances. Even so, the NAVY rejected the plane until 1944 when all the carrier issues could be fixed. That allowed the Marines to accept the aircraft for land based operations and you know how that worked out. See Black Sheep Squadron. Note that the earlier WWII versions were 3 blade props. Until the F4U-4s appeared, they upgraded to a 4 blade prop that increased thrust.

My father and 2 uncles fought in Korea, then were stationed there for years after the war. One of my uncles married a Korean lady, and now I have a cousin who is a Kpop singer. The people of Korea are worth protecting.

@@SCsc864 yeah do African mythology, legends or something and bring that bit of culture to America instead of casting a black person in a role that is supposed to be a white person. If the stories, history, comics, lore etc say they are white make them white. White people want to watch other black stories but when it's being forced down their throat they don't like it. There are black super heroes etc they never touch. Make a static shock movie instead of a black Superman movie.
